1. About Rembeo

Rembeo is a smart shopping companion app and website that helps you:

• plan and compare everyday purchases;
• explore fuel price information and EV charging locations;
• discover retailers and service-providers.

We may add, change, pause or remove features over time as the product evolves.

2. No financial advice

Rembeo provides information and tools, not financial advice. We do not:

• recommend particular products, tariffs or providers as “best” for you;
• provide financial, investment, tax or credit advice.

You remain responsible for the decisions you make, including any purchases or contracts you enter into. Always check final prices, fees, delivery, returns and product information directly with retailers or service-providers before you buy.

3. Third-party content and links

Rembeo displays information from, and links to, third-party sources such as:

• retailers and comparison sites;
• fuel and EV charging data providers (including open data such as Open Charge Map);
• delivery and logistics providers.

We do not control these third-party sites or services and are not responsible for:

• their content, accuracy or availability;
• their terms, privacy policies or use of cookies;
• any products or services you obtain from them.

Any dealings between you and third-party providers are solely between you and them.

4. Open data, licences and attributions

Open Charge Map

Some EV charging location data and related information in Rembeo is provided by Open Charge Map (openchargemap.org). Data contributed by Open Charge Map users is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). © Open Charge Map contributors.

Data is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Open Charge Map and its contributors are not liable for errors or omissions in the data. Charging locations may be unavailable, inaccurately placed, out of service or subject to restrictions or fees. Always verify details with the charge-point operator before relying on them.

Other software and libraries

Rembeo is built using open-source libraries such as React Native, Expo and related packages, which are licensed under their respective open-source licences (for example, MIT).

All trademarks, logos and brand names mentioned in Rembeo are the property of their respective owners and do not imply endorsement.

If you are the owner of content or data used in Rembeo and believe that attribution is missing or incorrect, please contact us and we will review it.

5. Use of Rembeo

By using the Rembeo app or website, you agree that you will:

• use the service only for lawful purposes;
• not attempt to misuse, reverse-engineer or disrupt the service;
• respect the intellectual property rights of third parties.

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe there is misuse, abuse or a security risk.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Rembeo and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the app or website.
• Our total liability for any claim related to Rembeo is limited to the amount (if any) you paid to use the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law, such as for fraud or certain consumer rights.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Rembeo evolves. If changes are significant, we will highlight them in the app or on rembeo.com and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
